(1) Keep records of the operation of each component and workflow

When the fiberglass cooling tower is constructed or the equipment is completed and put into operation, the planning unit or production manufacturer should provide all characteristic data of the cooling tower, including thermal characteristics, resistance characteristics, water load, heat load, ambient temperature (dry and wet bulb temperature), cooling range, air flow rate, power consumption, wind loss, evaporation water volume, compensation water volume, concentration ratio, fan power consumption, water pressure entering the tower, etc. The relevant sharing part of the using unit should be recorded according to all characteristic data and various contents provided by the planning unit or production manufacturer for the cooling tower.

(2) In order to test the operation and cooling capacity of the fiberglass cooling tower, indoor experiments or identification tests must be conducted on the operating cooling tower at the production site. To ensure the normal operation of the fiberglass cooling tower, it is necessary to have technical personnel conducting experiments and discussions on the cooling tower, as well as a complete set of testing methods that are in good condition and meet standards. It is also necessary to equip a set of testing instruments and surfaces, such as thermometers, micro pressure gauges, excitation meters, sound level meters, etc.

(3) The cold water collection tank of the cooling tower should maintain the water depth of the tank to avoid cavitation. The freeboard height of the collection tank is 15-30cm, and the effective volume of the tank is below. The water level of the cold water collection tank should be maintained at a fixed level, and the water valve should be adjusted and compensated according to the demand. For cross flow cooling towers, if the operating water level is lower than the planning requirements, air baffles should be installed below the original water level to avoid air bypass flow. The cold water tank should be cleaned irregularly to remove the sediment and adhesive substances deposited at the bottom of the tank, remove the debris from the packing and brackets, maintain the cleanliness of the grille of the water pump suction port, and check the leakage of the collection tank irregularly. It is necessary to pay attention to whether the acid and water quality stabilizing agent distribution equipment is operating normally. The water quality control of compensating water volume, sludge discharge, and circulating water is closely related, and the dosage should be adjusted in a timely manner according to the requirements of the system to maintain normal operation.
