Closed cooling tower is an application form of tubular indirect evaporative cooler. Its working principle can be divided into three parts of a loop. Now, let's introduce to you what these three parts of a loop are specifically?

1. Primary side heat exchange cycle:

When the circulating hot water on the primary side (external circulation) flows through the coil of the closed cooling tower, it is divided into three stages for heat transfer: (1) Firstly, the heat of the hot solution is transferred to the inner surface of the coil based on convective heat transfer; (2) Conducting heat through wall thickness to the outer layer of the coil; (3) The convective heat transfer from the outer layer of the coil to the flowing water film outside the tube, which is then transferred to the air through evaporation and convective heat transfer.

2. Secondary side pre cooling cycle:

The third side (self circulation) spray water is pumped from the lower water tray of the closed cooling tower to the water distribution system by a spray centrifugal water pump. Through a unique uniform sprinkler head, it is sprayed onto the heat dissipation material, and undergoes latent and sensible heat exchangers with air. After pre cooling, it flows to the coil tube group, generating a stable water film on the surface of the tube, absorbing the heat transferred by the material inside the tube, and returning to the water tray, thus circulating uncontrollably.

3. Air circulation:

The fan sucks the unsaturated air outside the closed cooling tower into the tower, and the airflow passes through the coil, heat dissipation material, and spray water on the secondary side for latent heat and sensible heat exchange to absorb heat. Then, it passes through a unique water baffle for gas-liquid separation, and the moist air close to saturation is discharged from the outside of the tower- Shunfeng cooling tower
